Looking for a new read? Not sure what to try? Or maybe you want to see your own book ‘up in lights’?
Check out my Book Reviews page and get an idea what your next read might be, or see if one of your books has been read and reviewed by yours truly.
I’m even willing to take review requests – though be warned; I’m brutally honest, and my TBR pile is quite substantial (translation, there may be a wait before I can read and review)!
I am grateful to see eternal Road among all those wonderful books. Thanks again, Jessica.

I always enjoy your book reviews, Jessica. And I know exactly what you mean about not being able to get to them for a few months.

Thanks, Teri 😁
Yeah, sometimes I wish I had the ability to finish a book in a day. I might actually subdue my TBR pile if I could do that!

Great idea, Jess. I should probably have a page like this too. Speaking of reviews, I just read a great one on Jacqui Murray’s blog for Guns of Perdition!

Thanks, D – oh you totally should!! You give such great reviews.
I saw Jacquie’s review on amazon, and if it’s the same one as on her blog, I’m thrilled!! 😁❤️

One of these days, I will. I just find that time is always so short! Ack. I need staff. 🙂

Hahaha, imagine the advertisement. Deranged, frazzled writer needs assistant to read overdue TBR pile, assist with prodding said writer when the muse is not upon them, and the procurement of snacks.

I actually saw an ad similar to that. Scott Lynch was looking for someone to handle his social media and website, and other virtual activities. Have you read “Lies of Loch Lamorra?” I think you’d like it. Very witty.

No, I haven’t, but I’ll go check it out. Other ‘virtual activities’ has the mind boggling!

Awww. Thanks 🙂
P.S., I just read and reviewed Wings and Fire. The whole anthology was excellent (hard to achieve). Your three stories really rocked!

I saw!!!!! Thank you so much for both reading and reviewing. As you know, reviews are oh so important, and yours was truly well received by us all in the anthology.

Thanks, Jacqui! I’m pretty vocal when I like something, so my reviews all tend to come with a dollop of “heart on sleeve” – hoping to add the Crossroads series here soon!!

Thank you for continuing to give me worthy material to review 😁
I’m currently halfway through Playground, so expect a fat review coming soon!

Hope you like it. I wanted it to be a little like a Tarantino film with the three stories.

Yeah, I kinda get that vibe. I like different POV, but Clovis and Dog steal the show 😉

Hi Jess, I appreciate your reviews of my books and ones I am affiliated too. If you fancy reading A Ghost and His Gold let me know. It is live today on TSL Books and Lulu and I have the final PDF. Hooray! I’m not sure if you like historical paranormal so only if it tickles your fancy.

Absolutely, Robbie!! When you delve into history in stories (and at times in Nethergate), I always learn something, as well as being entertained. You do history so well!!!

Thank you, Jess, that is very kind of you. I’ll send it over but there is not rush. I know you are also hectic.
