With so many people I know currently reading (or about to read) Guns of Perdition, The Armageddon Showdown Book 1, I don’t want to spoil anything by offering up excerpts from book 2, however, I just had to share this bit:

Slowly, almost lazily, each chupacabra, including the two in the circle, turned their heads in the direction Abigail and her companions were crouched.

“Aw hell,” Grace murmured, thumbing the hammer of Justice.

“They’ve scented us,” Tokota said unnecessarily.

And then there was no more time for words as the chupacabras attacked.
