Well this was a new one for me! An award I’ve never heard about but was delighted to receive from dear Roda over at Growing Self Blog. I’m chuffed to have another award to add to my collection, and even more chuffed that it came from the most beautiful blogger in the Blog-o-sphere. If you don’t know Roda yet where have you been? Head on over to Growing Self and meet the fairy herself!
What Is This Award
This award is for bloggers who strive to write for everybody, and no matter how many viewers they get, make an impact on a reader. This award is an expression of gratitude to the nominee. It should be awarded to anybody that you choose deserves it, and it doesn’t mean that they must have hundreds of followers and likes.
Rules
- anybody nominated can nominate up to eight other bloggers
- the nominee answers three questions posed by the nominator
- the questions you ask while nominating can be any three questions
Roda’s Questions
- What would you like bloggers to do more of that they aren’t doing right now?
- Don’t follow unless you MEAN IT! I have 491 followers and actively engage with about 30 (these are the ones who comment, like and share). I’m not into numbers. I’d rather have only 30 GENUINE followers than 491 who clicked Follow and never came back again!
- Tell us 4 things about yourself, one of which is not true… and see if we can guess.
- I have worked as a; Financial Para-Planner, Checkout Operator, Veterinary Intern and a Disability Social Worker
- Describe a perfect day that balances all the things you love.
- Late sleep in with hubby, pancake breakfast, some writing or blogging, lunch al fresco, a couple of hours of gaming, spaghetti for dinner, watching back to back Supernatural and an early night in bed!

- Describe a perfect day that balances all the things you love.
My guess is you were not a vet tech. I love pancakes! Thank you for the sweetest comments! 💚💚💚

Correct! I would have loved to have been (I prefer most animals over most people), but the idea of having to maybe put them to sleep or deal with hurt animals makes me squirm. So I’m in the people services industries instead.

Pancakes sound wonderful. I’ve spent an entire marriage enjoying a Sunday breakfast together. My wife’s schedule at the hospital recently changed and I’m alone most Sundays now. I could make my own, but there’s nobody to share with.

Aw, that’s sad 😦 I’d hate Sundays without hubby beside me. You could always share with the puppers!

They like them too, but they aren’t any better for them than they are for me.

I see it’s already been answered, but I would have guessed vet tech too, I have no doubt that you love animals but for some reason that just didn’t seem to fit!

Yep. I’m much easier dealing with hurt people than hurt animals. Does that make me a bad person?

Not at all. I think I fall into the same vein.
