The Outcast’s Bloghouse Welcomes… Kerry McKim

This week’s member inducted into The Oucast’s Bloghouse is the most resilient and inspiring Kerry McKim of Running Forward…My Way.

Kerry and her daughter
Kerry’s blog is a journey into the heart and soul of a woman who suffered a tragic loss and admits that one part of her died when her husband Bryon passed over. Kerry’s blog is a “story about the part of me that is still living.”

Kerry’s open and honest monologues explore what life looks like for a recent widow, learning to adapt to change, learning to live with the grief that will always linger in some form. Kerry shares experiences both past and present, and provides us with snippets of her life and all the amazing things she does for her daughter who will grow up missing out on her father’s presence. Thanks to Kerry’s blog though, she will know her father and know her mother’s ongoing battle to catch and return the curve ball life threw at her.

In Kerry’s own words on Running Forward… My Way:

“This blog is about grief, love, life and resilience with some running and traveling mixed in.  I am trying to navigate the crazy world of widowhood and single parenting while trying to regain my identity as an individual.”

For Kerry’s personal ruminations on life as a widow, loss of faith, and advice to her daughter, as well as to be inspired by one woman’s continuing journey through life after her world was turned upside down, head over to Running Forward… My Way and take a peep for yourself.

You can follow Kerry via her website, or also find her on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

It is my pleasure to welcome a resilient fighter into our Bloghouse, and I dub Kerry McKim, a member of the Outcast’s Bloghouse and Champion Runner, Winning at Life.

Welcome Kerry and here’s your very own Outcast’s Bloghouse logo to display on your blog.
