I love the last post! A friend of mine, a sculptor, tells me that the hardest part of creating something can be knowing when to stop improving it.
I think too many artists — very much including writers — assume they must discover new truths. I don’t think that’s nearly as important as making old, well-established truths fresh again — so that we pay attention to them.
By coincidence, I just today posted on my blog some thoughts about all of that.

Thanks Paul! Very true, I know I’m massively guilty of never knowing when to say enough! Sometimes I find myself procrastinating on attaining perfection. Must be a common artist thing 😌
